Quantum Computing with Atomic Chips

This project involvesĀ the Stimulated Raman adiabatic passage (STIRAP). STIRAP is a technique which uses laser pulses to transfer atoms from a ground state to another ground state without losing them to an excited state. In this project, we have successfully found three specific conditions such a pulse shape must satisfy in a six-level scheme.
